Follow the best people, then I will be one of them
Tonight I did two things, on the way to boarders to investigate what the best people talk about in the wintersports world, I stopped stanford shopping center to pick up some overcoat that I spotted on the net. Good clothe is good for eyes to look at, but I realized that I didn't get much fun of it shopping for that. On the contrary, I am satisfied to read things about people who are the best of what they do. I even bought all three mags available in boarders just to find a chance to read what they do, wear, use and how they live. I have no intention to be a super ski star, but I do have an intention to be a best of,..., I don't know what yet. I know, given chances, I rather be a photographer without a home, than working a regular 9 to 5 job. I am continuing to search for the true meaning of my life.
Thanksgiving ski trip
Reno snowed pretty bad, the trip back to bay area took us 8 hours, although it was a great trip with great friends, somehow something is missing. While others formed bonds with each other in the form of family, my theory of having it while I can while I am still single, does not seem working very well for me. It's thanksgiving, everyones I met either do things as couple, or with their family, I am alone, and away from my family. The first email I got was from Nica, with whom we have corresponded with a while. Email from her says she found a perfect match for her so she won't go out for dates for a while. We have not even dated once and I was kinda backed away a little bit a few days ago. It's quite amazing how people talk about great things to impress others, Nica proposed to go dancing, learn Chinese, have coffee, for which I did not responde all actively. You can not, can you? You first meet up a person, check each other out, then decide whether to go for her/him. Then you talk about things to do together if there is chemistry. Peaceful dove said so. I often think of that. It's a bit disappointing. I have become a rather good guy, don't play game like I used to do. I even prefer a stable relationship. If Reno's snow is something you can experience occasionally, as it feels more and more remote and obscure, bay area's everything is reality. I am rootless now.

Eric's 20 something party at Minna
Eric turns one year older, he claimed he is still twenty something. When people claim that, they are normally 29:) It turned out to be true. Phil, Nan and I went up to Eric's bday splash at 111minna, an industrial styled building turned gallary and night club, high ceiling, wood floor, spacious. I liked it a lot. Tonight I find my dance should be named as "squid" style, rather than stepless dance. Sera helped me out on this when we were chatting. Sera is VERY cute, she is tall, thin, very pretty face, and she has sparkling eyes. There is lot of chemistry between us, even though we didn't get to talk a lot. Vincent is the guy who always targeted the prettiest girl in the party, and he is Eric's friend, I don't want to put girls in front friends, although the attraction is too strong.
By taking the lead to dance, I found out everyone has a desire, wild side to let "it" out, Phil was obviously having a great time, he danced like nobody was watching, given his shyness, that's a huge surprise; Nan, my invisible roommate, wore a leather pants and a shirt with an image of pirate's sign, she danced like crazy!
