Elbo

Elbo room, one of those little club in San Francisco where people mingle and band plays, is at this little corner on Valencia with a big pink sign that is hard to miss. It took phil and I a good while to find Valencia though practically because we were looking at the map of Valencia of San Rafel instead of San Francisco, silly. Honestly, it was quite comfy to sit in a large Lexus car so I did not mind that much. It has not been much fun since I last visited Cat as late as 1am in the morning two days ago. My blade is not that sharp now at least that is how I felt. The little Asian "bouncer" guy sitting in the dark corner of the gate that made him almost invisible. Invisible asked Phil for ID but not me, bumper. We walked in and checked out the crowd on the first floor, were not quite sure if we should stay or we should go. We stayed, the worst thing is to waste the $8 cover for upstairs live band, what the hell. There were literally nobody, or no attractive body on the second floor at all, except the coat check in girl. lot of fat and balding guys walked around hunting. We got two bears from the bar and felt silly to walk next to the foosball table. "Do you wanna play?" I asked Phil. "Maybe" I guess we both felt it a joke to drive all the way up to a club in San Francisco to play foosball. Band was not here yet, and noone attractive is nearby, so foosball might be the best option. "Oh sorry, we booked the table already" A girl walked up to us, along with her boyfriend, totally Berkeley phd student geek looking. I almost laughed out loud. Half beer later, a fat white guy walked up to Phil and I chat up, "Are you guys living in the city?" he asked. "Oh we live in south bay" "Carlson city, we drove from Carlson city, do you know where it is Carlson city?" "Yes, it's right next to Reno, quite a spacious town", "yeah, we came for Raider's game tomorrow, we are Raider's fan...do you guys wanna match up foosball?" Phil and I looked at each other, "Ok, why not". These two middle aged guys seem to be nice though, got the quarters and we were on the game. Honestly, it was fun to play against them and actually beat them up. Phil is quite good on both Foosball and Pool, especially Pool, we played in front of two hot white girls who are not really pretty, but hot, and ...single obviously. Not our type that I knew for sure. I thought of Gaia again, I can't just easily forget about her, especially that night when were talking on the phone, it was cold, but the club will be hot, I asked her:" it is freezing, should I wear jacket or just run with a tiny t-shirt on the way to club?" "run, without jacket" she did not even think a second. That's the sweetest talk we ever had, then we laughed, then we talked through the real elbows room in the cat club, I did not bother to look at other hot girls at all since I knew is I was ready to be with Gaia, it was beautiful. It was 8 months ago, and now, Elbo room, middle aged white guys for the raider's game, it's so not me.

The band was here now, don't know what the music type is something like techno, rock jazz type, not bad, but I didn't dance until they went on to break, while DJ played up recorded musci, seemingly worked better for me. I started to get in the mood, dancing under the Nilon...Phil knows my style, I know that too, it will easily get out of control before I lost myself into the music. Suddenly I felt someone poking me from the back, I glimbsed at two girls from the corner of my eyes, they went off the center and talked something with friends, then came back again to me. I was happy just like before but I am in no mood to flirt with them. It all went away like this.

She

She was sitting there, we did not have connection...That's the biggest regret of 2004.

Rainfall of Vancouver

Love and hate,
Like storm and Candle light,
Wind and river,
Asian and white,
This is Vancouver.
From the sweetest touch,
to Brandis dance,
As you and me
walk toward
In the winter's rain
Forget the season
and the continent
