Project Jay: Bravo rocks

I love Bravo: they always have shows reflecting real life so well. Jay said to the camera:

"Physically, I hate myself; Mentally, I am gorgeous."

Comfort zone

Professor Coit D. Blacker provided addtional wisdom especially derived from his time serving in the Clinton administration:

"The lesson is a smple one," he said. "However you choose to serve, make sure it demands more of you than you believe you are capable of giving. Because only by moving beyond our comfort zones can we access that part of us that we didn't even know existed. And it is through this process - and only through this process, as painful and disorienting as it is - that we grow, that we mature, and that we contribute to the very best of our ability."

Well said!

We let life happen

http://www.techcrunch.com/2006/09/05/minglenow-to-make-top-users-vips-in-real-life/#comments

Read # 37 comment:

Things come up;

We let life happen;

There is no technological solution to that situation. That situation is called life and it’s great;

I think MingleNow and any other service that aims for total efficiency of offline socializing is trying to fix a problem that doesn’t exist;

Tree service is hella noisy

I am a deep sleeper, rarely can be waken up by the surrounding noise when I am sleeping. Not today, I went to bed about 6am in the morning, and only to wake up about 9:15 to the horrifying noise of tree cutting of our neighbor. The usually quiet front yard of ours parked a huge truck while workers were walking back and forth with huge tree trunk, the sound is so spliting that I feel my gut being cut at the meantime. Billy unusally came to the front porch area to watch what went on and stay highly alert. I am sure this is a horrifying experience for our neighbor squirral family! I hate noise!!

Steve Erwin is gone

Beloved, passionate animal lover and expert Steve Erwin was dead, killed by Stingrey. It's sometime, beyond imagination to comprehend the death of someone so dearly to everyone's heart.
