Launch party

Mar. 10, the Friday. This is the first day my first Internet venture www.2above.com goes live. And It snows on bay bridge of San Francisco! Snow in San Francisco! This is very rare. The air is very cold. It fell hail in Palo Alto, twice a day!

The girls who worked with me on the party were fantastic. Pity was some of those were under 21 and were turned away by the club. Bunny and Branda rocked! Branda told me she was drunk already and asked me to get her more drink so I could take advantage of her. I did so, not on the latter part though. I have hefty bar garrantee to pay anyway. The moment I walked in the makeup room where all the models were doing make up, a girl's fresh face surprised me. I still did not catch her name, but we had small talks, she is over 21, a student of academy art University students. She had her hair all down and asked me if she would look better with her hair up. I said it does. We had a few pix taken in her digital camera. I left her my card.

The fashion show went wild about 11:40pm when my music man Ryan rocked a few sexy beats while girls were sexy and wild on stage. Crowd loved it.

Branda and I definetely had connection, she is a little older and maturer than other girls and understand what it takes to pull off a party like that. I held her hands and walked with her through crowd to get drinks. It felt great. Bunny is the best MC. I just knew it. She and I hugged, and almost kissed. I asked her when we will do our little thing. She asked me what "little thing" I refered to. You know, little things. She asked me to do the wine thing sometime soon.

The party, though, was not a smashing sucess when it came to promote the site. We had some technical difficulty to get projector working which is kinda ridiculous. After first day, the site get 2 real users, one guy, one girl. Thank you thank you thank you. I felt empty, I was drunk, I was driven home by friend. The whole day Saturday I have been thinking about one thing only: how to get the site take off, like what myspace, flickr and the facebook did in a shor period of time. I felt unhopeful, helpless.

This is what Cold play sings in their song: Fix you.

When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

What it takes to really start up

It's just recently that I fully geared up to the launch of my first Internet venture 2above.com; I worked non-stop everyday for two weeks now till 2 to 3 in the morning in order to get everything ready. But I am happy. Doing something I love is the only goal of my career.

Meet branda

Branda lives on Church street, which is really hilly. Bunny got so excited when we drove up and down, especially when we drove downhill, fills exactly like downhill ski, it can only happen at SF. Branda is a designer girl who works on her line for about 3 years after she dropped out of school figuring out she knew what exactly she wants out of her life. That is where I am right now. It's a good feeling, although a bit risky. This is one of the few times I visit a victoria's style house where lot of people share the house. Her room is quite nice with victoria window facing the street where u see all that happens day in and day out, rain drops, wind, etc. The roof was high. She has a huge bed and a counter full off all kinds of bottles with medications, I guess most are women related drugs. So complicated. She just got back from New York attending a trade show. Her garments are mostly silver, black, lot of skirts, that shows off the asses. There are zips here and there which she describes as a must for ass. She said she likes the unconventional models such as asians, dark skins models. She said conventional scandinavian looks are not her thing, at all, even though she is one of them. She always seems to be pondering on her clothes, figuring out what is good or not about them, she blinks her eys quite often, which makes her less sexy, although she is size 4,5 or 6, with nice rack and ass. I love the way she described her clothes must show ass and how she likes ass, curve, and hates flatness. I think she got potential, but she needs to be more business oriented, which I feel she lacks.

Dinner at Icando

I fought the traffic for an hour and a half to pick up 5000 flyers at Oakland, then headed up to the city to meet with Bunny. It rained later on that day pretty hard so we did not get to hand out flyers at all. But the dinner at Icando was great, though it got expansive when you went through full course. This is the 3rd dinner I had with her and we seemed to have a lot to chat, even though she is only 19. She dressed in a sky blue shirts with funny necklace she made of colorful plastic tube. She is really curvy with very sexy boobs. I can't help to notice that, who can't, as a guy? We talked about everything about Icando, it was so elegant that it feels like a musuem. The owner is a Stanford alumni who is a high tech executive turned restaurant owner. Their site talked about everything special about this place including local water, expansive wineware. The rest room was really pretty. They charge 5% as fund for their kitchen staff's medical benefit. I noticed the window was a little dirty, it may have been the weather, you know, kind of yucky. Bunny and I had a deal that I will open my 1997 Zinfandel that I called the broke up wine with my ex. We sat in the car waiting for the heavy rain to stop which did not happen. Bunny seems to be a spontanuous girl who said her addiction is people. She even told me it's not the sex, it's the people who draw her. I don't know what that means, including "Vergina" is just an accessory' statement. Very interesting.
